This policy explains what happens to information when you visit doctordanj.com. It is short, because this website collects very little.
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site. That tool records anonymous information such as which pages were viewed, roughly how long a visit lasted, the type of device used, and the general region a visit came from. It does not identify you by name.
This information is used only to understand which parts of the site are useful and which are not.
This website does not have contact forms, intake forms, or accounts. It does not ask for your name, your email address, your phone number, or any information about your health.
Nothing you type is stored on this website, because there is nothing here to type into.
When you select Get Started, you are taken to SimplePractice, the practice management system used by Dr. Jovanovic’s practice. SimplePractice is a separate service with its own privacy terms and security practices.
Anything you enter there, including scheduling details, intake information, and any health information, is handled inside SimplePractice under the practice’s agreements with that provider. This website does not receive, see, or store any of it.
Dr. Jovanovic’s practice is a licensed psychology practice and handles protected health information under federal and Florida law. That information is held in the practice’s clinical systems, not on this website.
Patients of the practice receive a separate Notice of Privacy Practices describing how clinical information is used and protected. This policy covers the website only.
Please do not send health information, symptoms, or clinical history by email or through any link on this site. The appropriate channel is the practice’s intake system or a direct phone call.
Dr. Jovanovic evaluates children and adolescents. This website is written for adults, and it does not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen.
Where a parent or guardian arranges an evaluation for a child, that is handled through the practice’s intake system rather than through this website.
Google Analytics sets cookies in order to count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using the browser add-on Google provides for that purpose. The site works normally either way.
This site links to outside resources, including SimplePractice and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Those sites have their own privacy policies and this one does not apply to them.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
